MOTH Originals

ZAMROD's "MOTHS" collection is presented as a series of delicate squares painted on linen. These works were born from a period of deep inspiration in Ireland, where the artist found herself surrounded by nature and peace, allowing her to connect with the essence of these creatures.

Each piece depicts the rebirth and renewal represented by the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly. This miraculous process symbolizes the hope that, even in the most difficult times, there is always the possibility of change and transformation.

Native Americans considered butterflies and moths to be relatives from beyond who came to visit this world. If you have an ancestor in the sky, you can think of them every time you look at one of these beautiful moths and imagine that loved one is also looking back at you through those eyes, and spend a few minutes together.
